Dr.Preetha G S, Professor and Dean Research in IIHMR Delhi,  did her MBBS from Government Medical College, Trivandrum, Kerala and MD in Community Health Administration from the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare(NIHFW), New Delhi. With more than two decades of sectoral experience, she plays a pivotal role in providing key inputs to research projects and activities of the institute. She has led many research projects in different areas of public health – quantitative and qualitative, funded by national and international agencies. She teaches Epidemiology and Quality Management in Healthcare to students of Health and Hospital Management.  She has also published articles in national and international journals. In her earlier assignments, she has worked with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) Government of India; NIHFW and United Nations Development Programme in various capacities.
